Unless you have a source that tells you, for
example, you know, I know who killed someone,

right? Do you have an obligation to go to the
police? I'm not sure you do and that's a really

tough one, right? The police are investigating
a crime and you have reason to believe you have

a source, well then you're burning your
source. There are all kinds of competing

values there and it's not a journalist's
job to do the police's work.
