I now look at this visual and I say what am I
doing here? What am I  adding to the knowledge

of the world? Like, we obviously you're going to
cover the story and the story is that a young man

entered a school, came upon a student with
a knife and stabbed her several times.

Well, even though I, you know, I can visualize
that um and it's pretty clear all that,

I don't you know and the footage is good
television footage right in the classic sense

of it shows you what happened and that's generally what we do in television. We try

to show you what happened. We don't just tell you
what happened, we tried to show you what happened.

So, there you know, there are lots of good reasons to run it.
